Welcome to my world of fun!
On this page I can share some of my toys and projects with y'all. First let me say that everyone should have enough hobbies and projects waiting for them that they will not be completed in three lifetimes; in this I fervently believe. The projects showcased here include surplus military vehicles and Dodge Power Wagons.
Another belief is that one should get involved in projects that benefit more than just yourself. In these pages you will hopefully become more familiar with the activities of The Michigan Museum of Military Transport Foundation, Inc and the Upper Manistee River Association. These are both worthy non-profit organizations with which I am proud to be associated.
If you want to drive directly to the areas devoted to these organizations, or learn more about the projects listed, just click on the appropriate image to follow the link to its specific page. To see the projects, motor on down the page while remembering to please remain on the trail and keep together for safety.

The newest vehicular project is a prototype truck built by REO Motors for the U.S. Military in the mid-1950's. It is an eight wheel drive cargo truck rated for five tons which was officially designated as an XM282.
Next is a 1966 W500 Dodge Power Wagon that was used by the DNR to fight forest fires in West Branch, MI.
Now we are ready to look at my 1971 AM General M35A2.
This is the truck that infected me with the olive drab fever, a 1962 M37B1 w/w, purchased in Sept. of 1989.
My
parent store their vehicles with me as well. These include a 1951 M38 with an artic hard top,
a pair of 1952 M38A1s, a 1942 WC53 and an M274A5.
For those who may be interested, I have some
things for sale.
