I-94 Travel Document

|
When you cross the boarder on a K-1 Visa, you will go into the border patrol building, give them the "mysterious envelope" and your passport. They may ask for other documents, so have them handy. After they have "processed" you, they will staple the I-94 to your passport and stamp it. They will also write or stamp a date on it and your visa. This is your "90 day" stamp. You have until this date to marry your fiance(e) and file the AOS. There are two sides to this document. When you make copies, be sure to copy BOTH SIDES. Also, before you leave the office, check the spelling of your name and your A-number. The A-number should be the same number that is on your visa. |
